Who is Christopher Solimine?
Born on the International Day of Peace (United Nations), September 21st, it is no surprise that Christopher Solimine has dedicated his life to bring peace to the world… peace of mind, that is.
Christopher teaches people how to live a happy and fulfilling life. Despite being diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder Type I, Christopher has learned to manage his illness and live the life of his dreams. You’ll often hear him say, “let’s turn mental Illness into mental Wellness, by turning I into We.” Healing takes teamwork; Christopher is an active member of NAMI, the National Alliance for Mental Illness.
During his studies at The Pennsylvania State University, in University Park, PA, Christopher was passionate about a variety of subject which allow him to share a unique perspective on human growth and development.
His areas of study included Biomedical Engineering, Physiology, Nutrition, Mathematics, Effective Communication, among others.
After completing his undergraduate coursework and receiving his Bachelor of Science degree, Christopher obtained a Teacher of Mathematics certificate of eligibility from the State of New Jersey. Though he has chosen not to teach Mathematics, he learned many useful skills that apply to the field of Psychology.
Christopher is currently applying to graduate schools to further his education. Ultimately, he is adamant about obtaining a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology under a scientist-practitioner model.
